Partnering in Your Transformation
As a leadership coach—and a former fighter pilot—I see myself as your wingman. In the same way I once flew in precise formation with my wingmen and flight leads in the F-15E Strike Eagle, locked in on doing my part in accomplishing our missions, I now stay intently aligned with my clients as they navigate their own paths forward. My role as your coach is to support you with steadiness, focus, and commitment—wherever your journey takes you.
When you partner with me as a coach, you are the flight lead. You will choose the destination and direct our maneuvers, as I fly alongside you—never to take control, but rather to offer perspective, to ask thoughtful, helpful questions, and to ensure you’re not flying solo as you extend your journey into new territory.
I’ve served as a flight lead myself, across a wide range of demanding roles inside and outside the cockpits of high-tech, high-performance aircraft. But, today, my greatest passion is helping others advance their own growth—as human beings, as ethical decision-makers, and as collaborative, purpose-driven leaders.

How We Will Navigate Together

Flight Planning
for Clarity
Our coaching partnership will begin with an initial meeting where we will build rapport and you will determine the Wingman Executive Coaching Package that best fits your needs. Together, we will then clarify your overall goals for our coaching engagement, review any previous leadership assessments and coaching experience you’ve had, and discuss the option to complete new assessments, such as the Leadership Circle Profile® or the Leadership Practices Inventory®. We will then discuss the additional support you can request throughout our coaching engagement, and finish by establishing a cadence for our ongoing 50-minute coaching sessions.

Target Analysis & Expected Outcomes
Throughout our coaching partnership, you will identify high-leverage behaviors to continue, adopt, and release, in order to move toward your overall goals while enhancing your personal satisfaction, professional prowess, and leadership effectiveness. As you make progress, you will strengthen your partnerships with important stakeholders in your life—including family, friends, and colleagues—and you will track measurable improvements in your performance. Ultimately, you will experience lasting growth empowered by increased self-awareness and a deeper commitment to building strong, productive relationships.

Charting Your Course for Success
At the outset, I will ask you to affirm your commitment to the coaching process, to establish a strong foundation for our coaching partnership. You will be the flight lead and I will be your wingman. As a result, it will be your responsibility to define success for our overall coaching engagement and for each of our individual coaching sessions, ensuring that our coaching partnership remains focused and on target. I will support you by staying in position on your wing during your journey of self-discovery and self-actualization, as you accelerate to faster speeds and climb to higher altitudes, to overcome the challenges and to embrace the opportunities you face.
The International Coaching Federation calls the coaching I do “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.”
At its core, coaching is a mutually respectful, dialogue-based relationship where the client does most of the talking and the coach listens deeply, before responding with questions and observations that spark the client’s insight and growth.
The leadership coaching I practice is designed to help leaders align their behaviors with the results most essential to the long-term success of their organizations and communities.
My coaching begins with a core belief: that my clients are both capable and motivated to take full ownership of their own personal and professional growth. My role is not to provide answers, but to help my clients expose their own insights, as I engage them in ways that enable them to stretch their thinking, expand their capacity for growth, and pursue sustainable self-development.

Confidentiality is essential to building the trust needed to sustain any effective coaching relationship.
Except as required by law and coordinated by you with your coaching sponsor or organization, I will keep all information related to our coaching relationship strictly confidential, including the fact that our coaching relationship exists.
I encourage my clients to be open with their supervisors, colleagues, and others regarding the personal and professional progress they experience as a result of coaching; but you will always have sole discretion regarding if, when, and how you share any information related to our coaching partnership.
